The Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to hit the Indian market on this particular date.
Apple is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated iPhone 15 series, with the official launch date set for September 12.
The tech giant has already confirmed the date for its first fall special event, sending out invitations to the media to join the special Apple Event broadcast live from Apple Park.
The event is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time and will take place virtually. Apple will showcase a prerecorded video that will be streamed live on its website, YouTube, and through the Apple TV app. This marks the fourth time the Apple September Event will be held virtually, with the first occurrence dating back to September 2020.
What can we expect from this exciting event? Apple is anticipated to introduce two new Apple Watch models, namely the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Speculations are also circulating that the company may unveil new AirPods, following last year’s launch of AirPods Pro. This year, Apple might introduce the AirPods third-generation.
The event’s title, “Wonderlust,” is a creative play on the term “Wanderlust.” The custom Apple logo designed for the occasion features a captivating sculpture-like appearance, with swirling blue and yellow particles resembling sand on a dune.
As for the iPhone 15 series, Apple is expected to launch four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Last year, Apple reintroduced the ‘Plus’ model, replacing the ‘Mini’ models introduced with the iPhone 12 in 2020.
While the announcement for all iPhone 15 models is set for September 12, the big question is when will they be available for purchase. Based on recent years, the new iPhones typically go on pre-orders the following Friday and hit the market for sale the week after. If Apple follows this pattern, the iPhone 15 series is likely to be available for pre-orders on September 15 and officially on sale on September 22.
For Apple fans in India, there’s more good news. The country has seen simultaneous launches of new iPhone models alongside the US market since the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017. This means that the iPhone 15 series is expected to be available in India starting on September 22, aligning with the global launch date.
